Cupcakes and Craziness

This photo describes me well today.

No makeup, sock-bun hair, and a crazed look in my eye. Probably because I spent all morning making these.

I'm making refreshments for Scout Pack Meeting and Bunko tonight. Not to mention it's my sister's birthday and I'm making her cake too.

I'm not sure if I'll make it 'til parent/teacher conference today. As Jacobim Mugatu would say, "I feel like I'm taking crazy pills!"

I know the Grammy Awards were months ago, but Katy Perry's lips have been on my mind ever since then.

She performed with these amazingly metallic lips that ended up being foil. Since I wasn't about to buy a roll of foil just for my lips (I'm not really a party girl), I found a way to get the same effect using makeup!

Super fun for a night out with friends or a hot date with my hubby. ;)

Hot Mess

That is how I would describe me at this very moment. I'm getting business cards ready, outfits prepared and lodging confirmed for SNAP! Conference this week. Not to mention the flour I'm cleaning off my bench…again. (Unrelated to SNAP, but completely related to my toddler.) I'm sorry if I'm MIA this week, but I promise to post again before I leave on Thursday.
