Connect Generations with Technology

We're headed to a family reunion this summer on my husband's side that hasn't happened since we've been married. Our kids are excited to meet their cousins, but the people I really want them to connect with are their great-grandparents. I don't know how many more chances they'll have to see each other, so I want to make these moments count.

Technology is an amazing thing. The photo on the left was taken with a cell phone and the one on the right is a photo of a photo. I'll be taking our Samsung Galaxy Avant with us to the reunion this summer so I'm sure to catch every moment in amazing quality. I signed up for Walmart Family Mobile to guarantee 4G LTE service no matter where we travel.

I'm all about recording memories not only of my parents, grandparents, etc., but of my own children and how they relate to their family. Here's the question I asked my son.

To create a video, I stood him in front of our fence, pulled out the Samsung Galaxy Avant, and pressed record.

I uploaded his response to Instagram. Just click on the image below and you can watch it there.

If you want your own Samsung Galaxy Avant to set up with Walmart Family Mobile, head to your local Walmart. This is the little number you'll be looking for. Mine was even on sale for $149! The Walmart Family Mobile service is $29.88/month (for the first line) Unlimited Talk, Text & Data service plan which includes up to 1G of 4G LTE data. Any employee in the cell area can help you find what you're looking for.

How are you going to use technology to record your family memories this summer?
