School's finally out and for me and the kiddos and that means a trip to Idaho with my new Samsung smart camera! Say hello to Maggie. (Yes, I named my camera. Don't judge.)

Maggie is a Samsung Smart Camera WB200 with wi-fi direct and…I think I love her. I've been using my phone as my camera for years because it was convenient and I could easily transfer the photos to my laptop. But as a blogger and scrapbooker, documenting memories is very important to me. There are so many I haven't caught because my phone didn't have the capabilities of a stand-alone camera.

I was so excited to test my new camera out on this trip because I knew my kids would be running around like crazy! My parents own a few acres, so there's plenty of space to play. Let's see how Maggie fared…

The long zoom on the Samsung WB200 is awesome! I was trying to be incognito so my kids wouldn't know I was taking pictures of them. I wanted to be a casual observer and this camera enabled me to do that.

Look! My kid is running and the picture isn't even blurry!

This is their element and with this camera, I'm able to be a casual observer.

Since my hubby wasn't able to come with us, it was nice to be able to edit the pictures directly on the camera with the touch screen and upload them to a shared drive via wi-fi direct. It makes us both feel like he's not missing as much by being home. I wish I had his Samsung Note II with me. All you have to do is have them near eachother and the sharing capabilities appear. It's awesome!

Maggie, my little Samsung WB200 you, this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship!
