On Trend – Colored Denim

I'm sure you've seen all the colored denim out there right now. Maybe you've rocked it yourself. At the conference I visited last month, I was surrounded by jeans in every color of the rainbow. It was a little bit like this.

Second Skin by Hudson JeansI, unfortunately, cannot take part in this trend. Not in pant form anyway. (No one needs to see me looking like a bright-colored construction barrel.) But there is a way for me to wear something besides blue jeans this spring.

Enter…the colored denim jacket.

They're available plenty of colors and price points. So if you're a chunky monkey like me, try one of these on for size!

I am just not a fan of a colored jean. Maybe if I were tiny I would like them. The jackets are cute though!

I'm with you...not wearing the colored jeans....and I also think that the jeans manufacturers (or pants in general) need to stop making the low cut (hip hugger) pants/jeans in sizes over a 14...some of us want a natural waist on jeans/pants. I am SO tired of not being able to find them...and after five kids and 6 pregnancies....there was a time in my life when I absolutely ROCKED the low cut jeans....you can do that when you are a size 3 ;D And I don't WANT to wear them either. Sometimes I wish I could but....I worked hard for these curves (gaining 40 lbs per pregnancy isn't easy ya know....well, ok, not sure how much weight I gained with that one...when I hit the weight I was when I delivered the first one and wasn't full-term yet....I started turning around on the scales ;D

All that said...I LOVE the colors....hopefully my married model daughter will get some (she's a 2) so I will enjoy them vicariously!
