Sour Skull JELL-O JIGGLERS

Halloween is drawing near and I am beyond excited. The costumes, the parties, and my personal favorite, the food. All of our family get-togethers are more about the treats than the tricks. This year I'm bringing my Sour Skull JELL-O Halloween JIGGLERS to the table.

Instead of going trick-or-treating for Halloween, we have a different family tradition. We go to my sister's house and eat pizza by candlelight. Afterward, the kids receive clues and go on a treasure hunt to find their candy. Then we meet up downstairs to watch a movie.

These cute, bite-sized JIGGLERS will be the perfect addition to our annual family Halloween party. Not too scary for the little ones and a great, tart flavor for the grownups.

My skulls were made with a silicone ice cube mold. The silicone makes it easy to pop out the JIGGLERS when they're done.

Sour Skull JELL-O JIGGLERS

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup water, boiling
  • 1 6-oz package JELL-O Lemon Flavor Gelatin
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • silicone ice cube mold
  • nonstick cooking spray

DIRECTIONS

Spray ice cube mold with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside. 

In medium bowl, add water to gelatin, stirring 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Let cool to room temperature.

After cooled, whisk in sour cream until blended. Pour gelatin into ice cube mold. Refrigerate 1 hour. Unmold and serve. Makes 15-20 JIGGLERS.

They can be made with any JELL-O Gelatin flavor, but I love the combination of tart lemon with sour cream.
